This article presents descriptions of the influential or important writings and books that can be found in the Dragon Reaches of Marakush. Other books, Random Generation
There are of course many other books found in various libraries both in colleges and in private collections. use the lisitngs below to stock a Lord's library (2-5 to 15+ books) or to check if the local college has a book the PCs are looking for. As in they may have the general topic but not the specifics. Take note of the specifics as outlined in the beginning of this article on what materials the document is made from and other details. This will help in how the PCs interact with the document and how others, NPC, react to the PCs and the document. Note; some of these documents will have restricted access or have been seen to be heretical. use the Critical Roll (d10) to determine how rare a book or how special a book is or if its available / in the library. For example you roll a 41% and a 9 Critical roll. This would result in a book or scroll on Philosophy and with the 9 result you can assume its an important or heretical topic; so lets presume that its a controversial on the "ideas of Laws should be agreed to by a majority of those whom they would affect and not just by a Kings edict". Or it could be the 'original manuscript' of an early King and his ideas behind his rulings and morals.Illuminated
