Description: Esin draws on earlier codex and provides a summary of wars and their impacts to the region and people who survived them. The treatise is not an analysis of how to conduct a war but a polemical treatise on its effects. Chapter One presents the wars that will be analysed and the society that will be impacted. Chapter Two discusses the prosecution of these wars and the economic displacement and societal impacts. Chapter Three is where the treatise explores the long term effects both on society and the ruling classes.
