The oldest copies of the scriptures would not have two wooden spools and more modern copies did have wooden spools. The books tend to be large, normally 16 inches by 24 inches. Some of the larger books, 2 feet by 3 feet, include glowing gilded images of Aldo Ursine as well as the goddess Beleryn and others also include images of the animal totems at the feet of Beleryn.
