Allen is the father of Tia Minx and the Duke of House Minx. He was previously the General of the Aerial Division in the Accian Military. He and Martin Stahlmann were King Ambrose Syltharis's closest friends when they were teenagers and young adults and the king still has a soft spot for Allen, whether he admits it or not. Allen on the other hand only cares about his wife and daughter, having lost faith in the kingdom decades ago. The Allen his daughter is familiar with is comical, goofy, gentle and smothers her with consideration and protection. He is an amiable family man who strives to provide a happy home and stable future for his daughter. However, Allen's history is not so gentle or happy-go-lucky. Unfortunately, the life he had planned for his daughter is upheaved by civil war in their home, Nippon, forcing them to return to Accia and thrusting him into the ghost of his old life. He is far from the ruthless tactician he was in his youth but there is nothing he values more, nothing he won't do for his daughter, even after the mysterious disappearance of his wife.
While serving in the military, Allen had a unique and effective fighting style. He also developed a secret technique combining the capabilities of both of his racial magics that very few have witnessed and lived to tell about. Only a few, such as Martin or Ambrose, know the tells of this technique. Allen was not a flashy warrior, only manifesting his form as needed. While using his lethal technique, he only needs his minx eyes and to summon electricity to one hand. He locks onto the pulse of a target using his minx eyes, able to distinguish details even over a long distances, and glean the rhythm of their heartbeat. Then Allen focuses a meager charge of electricity into his palm or fingertips and in one swift moment, he shocks the heart directly and with precise timing, interrupting the rhythm and sending foes into cardiac arrest. Aside from this technique, Allen utilizes small jolts of electricity with precision to alter the movements of targets, disarming or paralyzing opponents rather than flinging electricity about wildly. He is swift, agile, precise and unassuming, able to out-endure most enemies. He was especially successful in surprise attacks and ambushes.

General Physical Condition
He is generally unassuming and hardly strikes an intimidating figure. Very regular looking, having an average height and is a bit thin. However, he was and still is fit, agile and lithe underneath his disarming facade, never missing a session of his daily training. Unlike most Accians, Allen doesn't manifest his magic form casually furthering the frequency of others overlooking him.

Personal history
The Minx family secured their power and position through various advantages their racial magic grants them. Allen was raised in a very large family, possessing sixteen siblings. He was particularly close to his brother Darrell, barely a year younger than him. During the early years before the war effort began claiming the lives of his siblings, it was a very happy and active household. Evelyn, his mother, would spend time with the youngest children while Allen and Darrell enjoyed watching their older siblings train. His father Titus was a very serious and hands-off parent, focusing on running the House and some training for the eldest siblings. When his siblings began to die off one by one, the household took on a very tense and grim atmosphere. Evelyn became far more harsh and expectant, believing stricter and more thorough training may give them a better chance. This, of course, didn't save most of them.
Allen was also pushed to befriend then Prince Ambrose as they were the same age. While training as well as in service, Allen, Martin and Ambrose became close friends who shared the same ambitions. He had one of the most notable military careers of his generation, serving closely with Martin and Ambrose. Allen had 16 brothers and sisters but only he and his youngest sister, Felicity, survived military service. Allen is known in Accia for being a shrewd, ruthless and lethal tactician and warrior. He bore the weight of intense expectations, feeling personally responsible for completing the campaign which continued to take the lives of his siblings. As a result of his talent and dedication, he secured many victories in the campaign in Yaxiya. The landscape and people there were highly adapted for aerial battle, putting far more pressure on this division than ever before, but Allen rose to the challenge. He was particularly partial to ambushes and surprise attacks. He quickly secured the position of General at 22 and, as the campaign continued, he became increasingly cold, ruthless, fierce and tactical.
Allen was particularly affected by the intense losses of the final battle of his military career. The kingdom had been sieging Yanjing for months and, anxious to end the campaign with so few of his siblings left, he led a battle against the Zhou clan who guarded the royal palace on Penglai Shan. Allen was successful, heavily credited for their victory, but he was the lone survivor of this battle. He only survived thanks to the sacrifice of his brother Darrell who he was particularly close to. He was considered a war hero but he was never the same after the losses he faced. He retired after this battle and returned to Minx Manor in the capital.

He also developed a taste for Shadow Tongue Mead, losing himself in the past or alternate futures the brew imparts hallucinations of. After several explosive arguments with Evelyn Minx, he went so far as to swear he would never marry or produce an heir for their House. Feeling more crushed by the weight of expectations he no longer had any faith in, Allen was desperate for an escape.
When King Ambrose expressed a desire to begin establishing diplomatic relations in Nippon, Allen requested that he be the one to go despite his position as duke. Recognizing Allen needed time to recover away from the pressures of the capital, and having a soft spot for his long-time friend, Ambrose agreed and allowed Allen to become the ambassador for Accia in Nippon. Of course, he also trusted in Allen's skill and wit to handle the diplomacy.
Far away from Accian politics and the burden of his family name, Allen began a personal journey to figure out who he was outside of the fearsome identity he had forced himself into for so long. This is also when he met Mina. At the time, she was a concubine of the emperor and he frequently ran into her at court. By the time the emperor passed away, their relationship had already developed into something more and, free of her position as concubine, they grew closer. It was through his relationship with Mina that his softer, sillier personality began emerging and eventually, after the birth of his daughter, that he grew into his true self. He had found a family to love again and was determined to keep them out of Accia, blaming their military system and expectations for the loss of those he loved.

He can also be overprotective of his daughter, sometimes smothering her with attention.

Allen is the head of House Minx, one of the Ten Houses originating from the Tenebrous Chain. This illustrious family was once quite large, Allen one of 17 children! Unfortunately, Allen and his littlest sister are all that is left of them. To the distress of their mother, neither child had any wish to carry their family forward and there are those in court who wonder if the Minx House was cursed, doomed to wither away. Despite Allen's absence over the last two decades, his mother has maintained their house as a influential and politically active entity through various organization and foundations offering education, shelter and other support to impoverished or orphaned children and to mistreated animals. She even exposed House Chevalier's corruption, a potent scandal still reverberating through their community. And now that Allen has returned, all eyes are on House Minx and its unexpected heir.
