The Silent Knights

The Silent Knights are an independent military group formed to combat Demons, mostly in the Kingdom of Erdantia and Eseris. They have the ultimate goal of hunting down and killing the two Demon Monarchs in Elemaran. The group's base of operations is Staema Alera, and indeed many of its members were residents of Staema Alera even prior to joining the Silent Knights. Many of its members are mages or Cambions, owing to the high power required to kill a demon.

Structure

There are currently nine members of the Silent Knights. They are as follow.

• Exe Darwin Jay's apprentice and prince of Aven
• S, Avenic scholar and magical scientist.
• Arthur Hurst, Erdantine Electromancer.
• Alessandro Magnus, head of the armed forces of Yannurrin
• Tristan Copernicus Aequimanus, an Oberan Travelling Knight.
• Afrael Ordinata, Eserisian mercenary.
• Anais D'airelle, Emmeri Battlemage
• Zaha Mongolis, Avenic-Argean enchanter/mage

Many of these members have had experience with demon-hunting prior to joining the group. Exe Darwin and S had both killed a demon, and Jay had killed four. The organisation keeps ties with several others, including the nations of Erdantia and Yannurrin, as well as Black Raven and the Spinner Family. Yannurrin gave the group its military commander, while Erdantia utilised the Order of Erdantia to form a demon locating network, a project headed up by scouting expert Marco Portuez and senior operative Lena Arkwright. The Spinner Family led a similiar operation in Eseris, albeit on a much smaller scale. At the same time, the group collaberated with Black Raven to provide several cambions, each of which stood a fighting chance against a demon.

History

The Silent Knights were founded on the 18th of the Month of Saeri, 1591, by Eserisian-Erdantine mage Jay Spinner to investigate a rise in demon activity in the Kingdom of Erdantia and Eseris. Members were brought in from both preexisting friends of Jay as well as people Jay had not worked with before.
