Sir Alessandro Magnus is the General of Yannurrin's army and military advisor to the King of Yannurrin.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Alessandro is very physically fit, even to a superhuman standard, able to throw heavy objects long distances. It is not known how he came to be so strong.

Apparel & Accessories

Alessando wears a purple cape over his armour, which he can detach in the thick of battle. He has been known to switch this around several times, and has worn red and blue in the past.

Specialized Equipment

Alessandro wears quite heavy armour, plated with gold. The material under these plates is unknown, but the extreme durability of them suggests that they may be made of Kakellium. He carries a custom made Gladius and Scutum, the latter of which has a gold-plated boss. He wears a mask of varying material at all times. When in battle, the mask is solid steel, lightly decorated. When in ceremonial or official situations, he wears a silver mask, more elaborately decorated. When at a social gathering, he will wear a mask made from Eserisian ivory, engraved with exquisite decorations by the finest artists in Yannurin. He is never seen without this mask in the company of others, so his appearance, race, and even species is unknown, seemingly even to the King of Yannurrin himself.

Personal history

Very little is known about Alessandro's history prior to joining the Yannur military. It is rumoured that he came from the western border of Yannurrin, somewhere around Oria, but this is far from concrete. He joined the Yannur military in the midst of the period of militerisation Yannurrin went through in the midst of the Syndalan-Orlendian war. He was known for wearing a rusted iron face mask that he refused to take off, even to his superiors under the excuse of facial deformation, although he refused to go further into detail. Two years after him joining up, Yannurrin went through a harsh civil war, in which fighters from the south took up arms. He instantly proved himself as a formidable warrior after single-handedly fighting off an entire platoon of rebels with no injuries sustained. This caught the eye of the head of that legion, General Orpheus, who felt threatened by his military prowess and ordered him to be assassinated, ensuring that no one would take his place as Legion General. That night, General Orpheus was inexplicably found dead in his quarters, and Alessandro himself was never assassinated. After several more successful battles, he was placed in charge of the same legion, proving himself as an excellent tactician as well as a soldier, and later to Supreme General of Yannurrin's Nine Legions, placing him in charge of all of Yannurrin's military. He quickly became a loved public figure within Yannurrin due to his flamboyant, charismatic and confident nature, securing him a place as a favourite in the royal court.

Social Aptitude

Alessandro is very charismatic and is more than confident when speaking publicly. While his face is not visible, his soft voice is more than expressive enough to make up for it. He has a bit of an ego, but not to a degree to make him significantly irritating. Indeed, he has something of a personality cult around him, rivalling that of the Marca (emperor) of Yannurrin.

Alessandro speaks Cordaintine fluently and can hold a conversation in Erdantine, but has been observed to speak an unidentified language when he thinks he is alone, which he insists is simply misheard Cordaintine.
