Yel'ah

A male grung and blacksmith/carpenter aboard the Coursing Venom. After seeing the majestic armor worn by the Fortunate Five in their battles throughout the Northern Territories in 919, he realized that the grung Bubbles was responsible for such beautiful pieces of armor and decided to craft his own weapons and armor for his own adventures.
He loves the taste of cheddar cheese.

Personal history

Like many grung displaced by the Great Wildfire of 908, Yel'ah grew up far removed from the Lotan Conservation in the streets of Sanjuro City. While scraping by in the spring of 919 he witnessed a powerful grung wielding hand-crafted weapons and armor mowing down entire armies of lizardfolk cultists. Inspired by such a display of heroism, Yel'ah made it his life's mission to craft magic items of his own and dreamed of one day creating an item capable of impressing the Ageless One herself. 
Honing his metalworking skills over the following years, Yel'ah caught the attention of several pirate factions and moved to Nekutalin for better work. It wasn't long before he got picked up by Cpt. Dolooloobogg and the Holy Boaters, overseeing the ship's seige equipment during freqent battles with Sardivelia. His obsession with well-crafted weapons led him into some dangerous territory (like when he purchased a cursed shield from the The Handgun that nearly drove him insane), but his passion and loyalty for the crew shone through during combat as he led the charge against rival ship captains like Frogerto Froggellini.  
While many members of the Boaters retired after Cpt. Dolooloobogg retired and passed ownership over to Sarek Zureth, Yel'ah chose to stay aboard and continue to hone his weaponsmithing skills. While many pirates struggled to make ends meet during Sardivelia's anti-piracy campaigns of the 920's, Yel'ah thrived as he transformed the Coursing Venom into a floating foundry.
