Temeraire Mtns

A chain of mountains south of the Campanel Desert and home to the tallest peaks in Pescaliat. The viscious climate has proven inhospitable save for small tribes of metallic dragonborn, and rumors persist that storm giants live atop the summits of the range’s highest peaks. No one nation has outright claimed the mountains for their own, but Sabha, Despero, and Broggfey all claim some of the foothills as part of their territories. The mountains were created at the end of the Ostry Apocalypse by the Ageless One's Banishing Smite, the same event that created the Campanel Desert.

Notable Mountains

Mt. Altaria - the tallest mountain in the Temeraire Mtns and all of Ekal. Nobody has reached its peak, but it's rumored to be so tall that it reaches beyond the Veil
Mt. Salamence - a mountain looming above the orcish mining village of Krusk. The mountain is home to an ancient temple devoted to the Dragon God-King Timurex, and at the top is an observatory dating back to the days of the Old Myltev magocracy.
