Rúþó
Útelic: Rúþó /ruːθouː/
Rúþó is a small town in northern Kanot, one of the three countries of the Útels, and currently their northernmost settlement since the forest north of the river Óf was abandoned centuries ago. Located a day's journey from the city of Kalot, capital of Kanot downriver to the west and roughly half a day's journey to the village of Þóal in the southeast, Rúþó is an important link in the trade route connecting Kanot to the Ameder colonies north of Ela'k Forest, as no other settlements are located between the two regions.
Past the wooden bridge over the river, the roads and paths once connecting the towns and villages beyond it are now barely visible, and instead travelers walk along the coast of Klalaþan Sea, first along the cliffs lining the western edge of Ela'k Forest and then along sandy beaches after they reach the Plain of Spirits.
