Human Species in Dawn of Others | World Anvil

Human

Humanity has been changed greatly by the Sonohoka virus. While it is understood that biologically the Zombies and the Others are still human, they are generally not socially considered Human. The term Human is now usually used to refer to an ideal person that is not effected by the Sonohoka virus.    For purposes of this world setting, a human will refer to the human that is described in the Ultramodern 5 Redux source book.

Civilization and Culture

Average Technological Level

Prior to the Fall, humanity had achieved level 4 techonology. Much has been lost, but not everything. There is much that is in use without there being the ability to reproduce it any longer. Because of this, it is difficult to know what technology level humanity is currently at.

Major Language Groups and Dialects

All of the modern languages have survived. English is the language spoke predominently in the area, New York, that the setting is built around.
