Court House

As you approach the courthouse in Camp Hope, its stately presence commands respect, blending old-world charm with the rugged practicality of frontier life. The building's exterior is framed by a neat brick walkway and shaded by sparse trees. Inside, polished wooden floors creak underfoot, their warm tones illuminated by sunlight streaming through tall windows. To your left, rows of chairs fill a modest courtroom, each seat carefully arranged to face the judge’s imposing bench, a symbol of authority carved from dark oak. To your right, a smaller room with a long table invites serious discussions, its walls lined with shelves packed with law books. At the heart of the building, a waiting area with a green settee and an unassuming statue offers a quiet reprieve, while a modest office and private chambers at the back hint at the steady administrative grind that keeps the wheels of justice turning in this humble yet resolute institution.

Purpose / Function

The court house is where law is ruled upon. When there is a crime, cases are reviewed here.

Denizens

There are always members of the watch here. They run the building and ensure that the prison remains secure. They even serve as the jury for more complex cases. For the most part, cases are ruled by the judge alone.
