Bounty Office

Purpose / Function

This office is used to keep track of all of the bounties in the camp. People that are looking to have work done come to this office and post their jobs as bounties. They deposit whatever credit reward they are offering for the bounty and pay a fee to the office for finding someone to complete the work. People looking to perform work come here to register as Bounty Hunters. Once registered, they gain the ability to take on jobs and get paid for completing those jobs.

Design

There is a small lounge area that is generally called the break room. This location is a place for Bounty Hunters to hang out and talk with each other or wait for computer access. Office 1 is Enzo Cosima's office where he will meet with Bounty Hunters to give them payments after completing tasks or if he is offering them special bounties. There are four small offices that are for Bounty Hunters to use. There is nothing in them other then a desk and computer. The computer gives them access to the Bounty Board where they can browse and accept jobs.

Entries

There are two doors into the office. One in the front of the building and one in the back. Neither door is kept locked.

Denizens

Generally, Enzo Cosima is the only person in the office. Occasionally, there are other bounty hunters here. Mostly, they will come and look at the bounty board and then go on their way. Once a job is complete, they will meet with Enzo and collect the reward for the bounty. Thus, this isn't generally a location to meet other bounty hunters as they are usually else where either working on a bounty or finding leisure between jobs.

Valuables

The only thing of value here are the computers. However, each has a camera pointed at them to record anyone who is around the computer. This would make it rather difficult to steal these items without getting caught.

Architecture

The architecture of this office building is practical and unadorned, reflecting its utilitarian purpose within the camp. Constructed from reinforced concrete and steel, the structure is sturdy and compact, designed to withstand the challenges of a post-collapse world. Its rectangular layout maximizes internal space, while its flat roof and lack of external embellishments emphasize efficiency over aesthetics. The exterior walls are smooth and painted a dull, weather-resistant gray, blending into the camp's industrial surroundings.

Inside, the design prioritizes function. The rooms are small but well-organized, each equipped with only the essentials. The break room is a central hub, featuring worn but serviceable furniture and a simple layout that encourages social interaction. The manager's office, slightly larger and more private, conveys a sense of authority and professionalism with its central desk and seating area for one-on-one meetings. The four smaller offices are minimalistic, containing only a desk and computer, illuminated by overhead lighting that creates a stark, clinical ambiance. The building’s design is practical, serving its role as a central hub for bounty management without unnecessary frills or ornamentation.

Characters in Location

As you step into the building, the air shifts to a crisp, utilitarian coolness, the faint hum of computers filling the silence. The walls are plain and unadorned, painted a muted gray that absorbs the harsh light from the overhead fixtures. The layout is simple, almost military in its efficiency - straight corridors leading to small, identical offices, each outfitted with a desk and a computer terminal. To you left, the break room offers a sparse reprieve: a few couches arranged around a low table, a place for idle chatter or quiet contemplation. Ahead, the largest office, marked as Enzo Cosima’s domain, feels slightly more formal, its door open just enough to reveal a more polished desk and chairs for private discussions. The building’s structure is solid and no-nonsense, built to endure, with every inch of space serving a purpose. It’s a place where work is the priority, and even the faint scent of antiseptic in the air seems to underline its seriousness.
