Morham

On the eastern edge of Minin stands Morham, the planets largest source of food, everything from nutrient bars to the finest fish fillets is produced en mass within these halls.  The majority of Morham is run through automated processes, miles wide fish nets are dragged in at dawn to process the hundreds of captured fish. The most prized fish are picked out manually by "Sourcing Assistants", and anything that is left is processed into a slurry that is used to produce the majority of Olicana's staple food. Each day the process is repeated, with over fifty nets spanning across the sea to ensure the cities quotas are met.

Strategic Misfire

During the war effort, Morham was seen as a critical location to remain secured and as such significant efforts went into ensuring its operation continued. Three companies of PDF were stationed in and around the city for the duration of the war. The 23rd, 25th and 26th Infantry Companies occupied Morham for over sixty years.  In this time however, Morham was never targeted by ork invaders due to its relatively obscure location. The few ork forces that attempted to spread into the southwest were struck down by forces within Waldenlot, leaving Morham's operations uninterrupted. It was likely due to some sixty years of inactivity that lead to the eventual downfall of Olicana's southern front. During the Battle of Silent Crag, after Olicana's southern wall was assaulted by unknown ork forces, the companies stationed at Morham were called in to engage, not only were these reinforcements over three days late, their arrival was marred by their almost immediate defeat. 23rd and 26th company were pushed back into a full retreat, with the forces of 25th company being all but eradicated. Many blame the decades long lull in local activity for the failure of these companies, with only aged veterans who had seen no action and new recruits half-trained from the forgotten knowledge of their forbearers, alongside an armoury of poorly kept equipment, these Morham companies never stood a chance.  With the end of the war, many of the officers under the Morham companies were executed for incompitence, and the remnants of their forces were absorbed into the body of the PDF for retraining. Ever since, references to the Morham Guard have become a common joke amongst local forces.
