Lands Reach

Lands Reach was built to house Inquisitor Huskour back in 538.40M, the large subterranean complex was initially created to contain the Inquisitors assets, servants and acolytes. While her presence was open and known, her goals were not, and within three years of the complex's construction the Inquisitor left apparently emptyhanded.  Massive and relatively unused, the complex was adopted into a living space for the locals who aided in its construction. Since then, the town has expended to a population of just over 4,000.

Forgotten Riches

As the legend of the Inquisitors presence spread through the system, so too did knowledge of the vaults within Lands Reach. Throughout its history the town has been visited, invaded, and attacked over the legend of these vaults. A pittance of an inquisitors assets could be enough to save a family from a life of work, and so the poor, desperate or greedy still arrive regularly at the towns entryway. Of course, if the vaults exist its citizens deny it, and as such their opinions on outsiders has become significantly jaded.  If wealth was not left, weapons were. After the first assault on their homes the citizens armed themselves with advanced weaponry that even a seasoned guard captain would blush at. Though violent actions against Lands Reach ended shortly after, it still gains regular visitors, and of many of them, most will be left as bodies at the bottom of the ocean.

Government

The towns ruling structure has developed, like its inhabitants, from its ancestors who built the place. The descendants of managers or supervisors are the towns ruling class, though only making up around 5% of the population these "Manjer" are born into positions to rule. Those who remain are broken between "Wocer" (Worker) and "Aald" (Aid), the former standing above the latter in standing, but in application both are seen as an overall underclass.

Assets

With their disconnect from the rest of the continent those of Lands Reach are rarely capable of trade, instead they rely on themselves by surviving off the bountiful fish and other materials provided by the sea. Much of the technology left aeons ago remains for use in the production of clothes, medicines, and other basic necessities.  The towns most significant asset is the small collection of powerful weapons at their disposal. A number of the Wocer are chosen to use these weapons, and though they are trained in the weapons use by the last generation, they rarely fire the weapons for the finite stores of ammunition they hold.
