Dark Heresy: Somnium Reach

Somnium Reach, better known as the Vermillion Port. The lonely planet once stood as one of the most powerful of ports in Segmentum Tempestus, millions in Gelt and fine goods moving through its streets each day. After the Ork scourge found their way to the planet, all of that changed. For generations the planet has been in ruin. Ongoing wars break out across the surface while its grand hive city, Olicana Primus, rebuilds many times over. Those that remain choose between battling on the front lines or taking their chances in the Old Markets, scavenging for what few goods remain. You may wonder why such an ancient and ruinous place would attract any imperial attention? Many have, but for some reason the place has been of interest to those few old enough to remember its secrets. Today, the eyes of the inquisition watch over the broken planet, not over its goods, or the growing ork presence, but for something hidden beneath the tatters and time. Today, the Acolytes of Inquisitor Daudus step into the forgotten places to find what has been lost; to locate the cursed daemon artefact known as the Spear of Gnawing Bone.
