Armed Forces of the United Federation of Nations
The Federation Military, also known as the Federation Forces and as the Federation Armed Forces, was the Army, Naval and Air Force branches of the United Federation of Nations. The Military was lead by the Supreme Chancellor, while Federation officers, soldiers, troopers, crewmen, and pilots made up the military. They were organized into the Federation Army, the Federation Navy, and the Federation Air Force. From the time of their inception, the Federation Armed Forces have played a decisive role in the history of the United Federation of Nations. They have created a sense of national identity, and remain one of the most important factors in Federation society.
Structure
The armed forces of the United Federation of Nations consists of three primary branches, Navy, Army, and Air Force. Each of these branches include numerous component services, or are supplemented by other independent services. Additionally, many reserve, support or ceremonial units exist at both the Federal and Sector level.
Public Agenda
The Armed Forces provides not only defense of the United Federation of Nations itself, but also is in charge of invading hostile planets, defending allied worlds and trade convoys, etc.
