Central Wetlands

Located between the Coralous and Restile rivers, the Central Wetlands lie at the northern end of the Coralous Union, just south of the Hallensteir Mountains westernmost arm. These lands have long been the home to the Krh'shi'sn Tribe of lizardfolk, and mark one of the last places in the Union that are "unspoiled" by the settlers.
Before The Lizardfolk Wars, settlers were able to freely, albeit cautiously, cross the lands without great fear of lizardfolk aggression. However, as more and more of the colonists moved through the wetlands, harvesting resources and building roads or structures, the locals became increasingly hostile, eventually resulting in the infamous call to drive the colonists out. Now the wetlands are patrolled by Krh'shi'sn scouts with regularity, making the trek dangerous, even on the trade road to the south of their domain.
