Coralous Island The Forgotten Continent of Golarion

An island continent far from the mainland and lost to time, Coralous is a place apart from the hustle and politics of the rest of Golarion. Since time immemorial, the island was home to scattered groups of disparate bestial peoples, fighting with each other for land and survival. Druidic lizardfolk, profane harpies, and gnoll slavers divided the island, while murderous fishmen dwelt in the murky depths. And in secret, walking in shadows, something older and more powerful left traces of ancient magic and technology in their wake. Still, while conflict was ever-present, there was a balance on the island. A balance that came in terrible jeopardy when the humanoid races of Golarion first found their way to the southern shores of the land.   The lizardfolk tribes, who once controlled so much of the southern island now find themselves forced to share their ancestral lands with a growing population of settlers and refugees. Meanwhile, the newcomers find themselves ever more at odds with the dangerous natives as they seek to expand into new lands, having no homeland to return to. But what secrets hide in the lost ruins of those ancients who disappeared? Where did they go to, and why did they vanish?   Only time will tell... assuming that those seeking answers can survive the dangers of Coralous long enough to find out.
