Nordic Union
The Nordic Union, believe it or not, were the best bois when it came to human rights and healthcare within its territory. That said its military was comparatively weak and it was down there with India on the amount of territory it had on Earth and down there with Russia in terms of population. Still tho damn that healthcare.
Structure
Well it's a union in which the Scandinavian countries have most of the say in what goes down, especially Denmark.
Public Agenda
Defeating the Goners and helping ensure the independence of humanity -> "Okay guys let's see how much better life in our nation can be than all the others, especially since we don't need to focus as much on the military with us not having any space borders with the LIR"

Not having borders with the LIR. Awesome healthcare (robot eyes for people who fell eye-first on rusty nails boi) that technically kind of could be used to make people without legs combat able... by giving them robot legs. Space stations, a relatively weak space army.
History
So, the Scandinavian Union was formed during the Goner invasion of Earth. Denmark built a giant wall on its Southern border against the Goners and took in tonnes of German, Polish etc refugees, many of which joined the Scandinavian army to guard this wall. When the Goners attacked the wall, the wall actually held by allowing the humans on it to out-range the Goners.
At the same time as Aramis's invasion of West (France, Portugal, Spain) Europe, the Scandinavians were like "okay boys let's get that Eastern bit" and got Germany, Poland, Italy etc, going all the way down to Turkey. They then established the Nordic Union (Turkey, Poland, Germany and all the non-Nordic members of the Nordic union look up angrily from their newspapers), which was sort of like a federation but the Scandinavian countries had the most control. Then they got cool healthcare.
When the humans went on the space offensive, the NU had the smallest space navy and initially refused to use the Goner Remover 9000 disease, until their Supreme General died choking on some toast (0 gravity can do that to you) and his replacement decided to make up for it by using the disease straight away on every Goner planet they found.
Then everything the humans got was divided equally by value between the 6 nations and the Nordic Union got the luck of having territory that didn't touch the LIR's borders. This meant the Nordic Union could focus less on military power and more inward as the LIR was a less present threat. This led to really good healthcare and infrastructure.
However, the fact that the UCW and OE got couped and merged into the UHN meant that the Nordic Union was stuck between them. The lack of a seriously powerful military, combined with a powerful UHN military, meant that the NU was very quickly taken over by the UHN. Huzzah the Nordic Union is no more.

Getting conquered by the UHN, specifically being sandwiched between what was the Oriental Empire and United CommonWealth

East/Central Europeans and Scandinavians. Also a very small part of the Middle East. Borders are generally open so there's also French, Nigerian etc.

Military
Okay this is their main weak point because they focus far less of their resources into the military than the other nations, focusing far more on things like infrastructure and healthcare. Thanks to this their ships and soldiers are few in number, but said soldiers are extremely well trained and their ships use the best designs possible within the context of a small military budget.
There's also the Viking project, which created genetically modified super-soldiers that would raid and destroy facilities before reinforcements could arrive at said facilities. These Vikings kinda betrayed the Nordic Union when the UHN's "Greatest soldier", Kyle Slovlosky,

Doctor: "Hey, Timmy, want a new arm?"
Timmy: "Oh my god I can get my arm back!?"
Doc: "I mean that'd take 4 years on average and be a real pain in the @$$ during the process but we do have the far more convenient alternative of a robot arm!"
Timmy: "Wow! Does the robot arm have lasers and plasma guns and a rail gun and can punch things with enough force to collapse buildings!?"
Doc: "LMAO as if we're letting a kid named f~:@ing Timmy have that kind of power! We don't even let most of our soldiers have that kind of power!"

"Hey guys wanna be cooperative cos we're all the same species? No? Really? Okay...". They generally try to stay out of arguments between nations, except for that one time they didn't and got dragged into the inter-stellar equivalent of WW1 within humanity.
Agriculture & Industry
Mmmm, look at that delicious automation that's everywhere except the newer colonies is a major cause of unemployment. Most people are employed in areas such as teaching, therapy, medical services, repair work and the like. Then again this applies to more or less everywhere within the 6 Nations. The government here has a major hand in food production as many farms, which are heavily automated, are NU government property, specifically selling them at set prices to try and prevent private companies from being able to set their prices too high and it's from these guys that the CHG got the idea to do the same with food and other essentials.
Trade & Transport
It takes several years to cross the entirety of the NU's territory, even with the most advanced military technology being used in the best ships possible. But this also kind of applies to all of the 6 Nations.
Education
*sniffs* is that..? No way. The Finnish Education System with a few slight tweeks to suit the changes of the countries it's being used in? What are you doing here!? Oh, wait, of course you're here Finland is one of the leading members of your union.
Infrastructure
I'd say that deliberately making the toilet water acidic so that it dissolves anything icky that builds up in pipes can have negatives for anyone who drops their phone in the toilet but the conversation would shift to the fact that the train system of every planet under their control is basically the London Underground but with cooler trains and how the US and UCW are annoyed about the NU not even thanking them for coming up with the system first.

Major Exports
The NU is known to produce the best medical equipment and the other 5 nations pay them in return for the knowledge they acquire from their medical and scientific research.
Major Imports
Copper and gold for wiring from the Oriental Empire, Titan-steel (it's as cool as it sounds) from Indian Republics and United CommonWealth and US financial capabilities are the big ones but just about everything is being traded between every one of the 6 nations on both the governmental and private business level.
Legislative Body
The Nordic Councils, of which there is one per country, get to write the country's laws. A single representative from each of these councils, elected by the other members, gets a vote in the higher up parts, except that the Scandinavian countries are able to have far more members on this higher council by splitting up the Scandinavian countries into smaller ones and merging East/Central European ones "based on culture".

Civil, lower legal and higher legal courts. Military and political courts also existed.
