Ah yes, a Shone Moon Centipede. A most reliable species for transportation of minerals, items and other goods. Bred by the Shining Moon Family, the worm-like reature is highly obedient and trained to effectively do their job.— All knowing Lohrk
Shone Moon Centipedes are creatures, that help miners, loggers and other workers to safely transport their collected goods. They extend their many feet to keep the goods horizontal and stable. When carrying difficult to balance products, they swallow them and spit them out when ariving at their destination. These abilities allow the centipedes to even climb up extremely steep pathways without dropping a single item.
Basic Information
An adult Shone Moon Centipede has 24 to 32 legs and a tube-like body. Its torso is around 4-5 meters long and about 65 centimeters wide.
The Shining Moon Family mostly sells the Centipedes infertile and keep the fertile ones for reproductive purposes. Some say, however, that the black market sells fertile ones every once in a while. When a baby centipede is born, is hatches from an egg the size of a small barrel.
A Shone Moon Centipede, hatched from an egg is about the size of a humanoid hand and almost spherical. During a span of 2 years, the centipede grows in size, develops its feet and receives extensive training to be sale-ready after that two years time. As all life forms, this species also grows its Magicule senses, thus giving each centipede its own magical growth and rank.
The Shone Moon Centipede was bred to assist with transportation. Depending on the environment the specific creature is trained for, it will feel most at home there. Common places for them to work in are mines and forests.
The Centipedes are to be provided with food from their owners. These creatures are not picky eaters at all and eat anything ranging from bread over vegetables to meat. They, however, love to eat small creatures, made of magic, such as a
Primal Sparked Firefly.
A Shone Moon Centipede tears its rear off every season to grow twice the size of the tail. On top of that, ever time the creature repeats that process its skin sucks in the Magicules around it, turning its color slightly more into that magical element.
