Nyla Jamie Lindsey is a Female Human Kandinoean officer of the Federation Navy Exploratory Fleets, where she serves as second officer aboard the FNV Endeavour. A fairly recent graduate of the naval academy, Lindsey is one of the youngest officers the Exploratory Fleets has ever seen, and is among the youngest members of the Federation Navy to be appointed to an extragalactic expedition. She is notable for her work in discovering the lost planet Peridio, and the cutoff Human colony that had made it home.
Born and raised on the planet Ularia, within the borders of the Republic of Kandino, Lindsey often lamented not being born during the Era of Exploration, wherein Human explorers ventured to the farthurst corners of the Galaxy of Astraesto, discovering untold numbers of wonders beyond imagining. From an early age her mind was set, she would be the next Zann Pelleon, if not Astraesto, then the Universe itself.
Though uncommon, it is not strange for native born Kandinoeans to join the Federation Interstellar Navy, after all, the Republic of Kandino has no standing Fleet of its own, and instead relies on the Federation of Anfieden and Allied Planets for military protection.
