The impact of moving the Congressional building can not be understated, in doing so, Anfieden was relegated to a backwater, while Envis was elevated into a galactic powerhouse that rivals nearly any other.

The Federal Anfieden Assembly Hall, also known as the Old Federation Congressional Hall, is the technical headquarters of the Federation Federal Government of the Federation of Anfieden and Allied Planets. Located on the Federation's capital world of Anfieden, the Assembly Hall was the principal meeting point for the Federal Government for many years following the formation of the Federation in 2643 AC. Following the 1st Federation Civil War the Federal Assembly fell out of favour, with the newly built Envien Congressional Assembly becoming the main meeting place for the Federal Government. The change of assembly location has changed the capital of the Federation in all but name, with many now considering Envis as the de-facto capital of the Federation, as well as the single most powerful planet in the galaxy.
Nevertheless, the Assembly Hall still sees some use by the Federal Government, though meetings are far less common and see far fewer participants. For the most part though, the Assembly Hall sees use as a musuem piece, and numerous visitors tour the building every Galactic Year. Like the Envien Congressional Assembly, a significant Federation Congressional Police and Federation Military force is assigned to the protection of the building, and the building is still considered one of the most secure in the galaxy, even with its limtied use.
