The maritime power that is the Republic of Eshia claims to exist for the betterment of each man.
Structure
The council of 5 is elected by vote. The council of 5 serves to ratify any international treaty or agreement as well as voting to pass any major legislative agreements. Each member holds one of the following elected offices:

Head of Maritime Development
Head of The Judiciary

Eshia is home to largest naval fleet in the world. Eshia's economy is based around maritime trade. They have the third largest economy in Arethar their chief trading partners are Abren and Telos

Military
The republic of Eshia currently houses the largest naval force on the continent. At anytime the country can rapidly deploy 500 war ships. 200 military transport vehicles(sea) the country recruits from its civilian population a standing army of 1000 troops with another 1000 standing in reserve. In time of extreme emergency the country can field an extra 500 from the retired military officials.
Technological Level
Eshia with help from the magical kingdom of Abren has managed to revolutionize maritime travel creating what is essentially a ship that can propel itself through the water without the need of sails. In the field of maritime technology the city is ahead of its time. The country is about average in respect to other fields of technology.
Religion
The government itself firmly beliefs in seperating belief from the business that is the government. The religious factions have begun to grow larger in recent years. The Children of Ahdos. have also grown in recent decades between the two religious orders they have the backing of a significant portion of the population.
Agriculture & Industry
Eshia is a mainly a agricultural power, thriving of the sea creatures to the south and logging in the forest to the north.
Trade & Transport
Trade is mostly conducted through established sea routes with its major trade partners. There is one major trade route leading from the capital city to the Iron Expanse.
Infrastructure
The main cities of Eshonia, Alexandria, and Nasi are protected all on sides by three major walls. The outer wall serves to protect the city against any outside force. Inside the outer wall is the market district, the market district is where all major business is done. The next wall is about 100 feet further inside. Inside this wall is the residential district where the majority of the populace lives. Another 150 feet inside we find the inner wall, inside this wall is the political affairs district this is where the most important figures in the city live including the leader of the respective city.
