Since the Mornal Invasion, many of the disenfranchised Viisianari began to embrace the mythical ideals of the ancient Viisianari before the birth of the Old Orckid Empire, especially then-modern understandings of the worship of the Eight Winds, an ancient religion that had long since developed into the Sixteen Pillars by the time the Mornals invaded. The Viisi are a nomadic people that live primarily along the coasts of north-central and north-western Kynaj, as well as the Isle of Belth north of Viis Zoroth. Living typically in small Amai that travel either with the seasons or with the winds, or even in accordance with inter-Amai determined holy days.
