Ancient Queendom of Viis Zoroth
Founded shortly after the Great Collapse a thousand years ago, the Ancient Queendom of Viis Zoroth began (according to legend) with a group of families (called Amai) banding together to secure land along the River Shauron, taking advantage of the splitting New Orckid Empire and especially of the chaos found in East Orckid. When East Orckid was torn by war between both Vaina and the West Orckid Empire, the Amai of Viis Zoroth declared their independence, effectively splitting East Orckid in two. In exchange for permission to bring their troops through the new nation, East Orckid recognized Viis Zoroth with no armed conflict. As East Orckid continued to weaken over time, Viis Zoroth would expand its territories. This would bring it into conflict with the northernmost regions of Monos, though it would be East Orckid that most often proved their adversaries.
