Orvyx Mountain Range
Arguably three mountain ranges meeting at their center, the Orvyx Mountain Range is so named because of its appearance to an enormous bird in flight, when viewed on a map. The western "wing" of the Orvyx contains Mount Rhesselor, sacred to the history and faith of the Viisianari. The far northeastern-most area includes the Storm Crag Mountains, currently held and exploited by the West Orckid Empire. Between these two wings rests the Wyrmnest Valley, a land populated by only a few people and (according to rumors) many monsters.
The southwestern range hugs the Mhyrychas Desert, where the Mhyr Folk live in obscurity. Most famously, the southeastern range holds well-established Visrite mines that are held by Yena and Yaalk, allowing them to compete to some extent with the supreme might of the Holy Qhaganate of Zalja.
