Ya Jnyeinai
Meaning "the thinkers" in their ancient tongue, the Jnyeinai are a race of fairly short folk found around Aqmiah and the western grasses of the Cradle of Yaalk. History records them as pacifistic, invariably retreating from aggressors and resettling elsewhere, and indeed there are some southern histories that refer to them as "Cowards," as though that were the name of the tribe whence they came.
The vast majority of celebrated Yaalkese philosophers have Jnyeinai heritage, and the Sect of Shadow Watchers is said to have originated with their ancient ancestors.
