Faemire
A large patch of wetlands found in the Fiirwood, south and southeast of Cullan's Lake. This particular part of the Fiirwood is said to be replete with bandits, werewolves, and cannibals, and princes of Clan Beth have often made names for themselves by riding into the mire to slaughter the criminal bands. No less a hero than Dorren the Young King and his cousin Dorrenog died in such a quest, and only a fortnight past, the crown prince Bennerog the Black Boar met a similar fate.
Being directly south of Queenspoint, the Faemire is sometimes considered to be under the rule of Clan Odon, but unlike the Beths the Odons often seem loathe to ride south and put down the many dangers there. The Odons are among the very few eastern clans that still worship the Deinain, and they have often been accused of holding sympathy with the Siiari, ghastlings, werewolves, and the Aernigh themselves.
The Faemire is named for Faereann the Queen of Light, one of the Middle Deinain.
