Thebes
Thebes is the family home of the Michaels family, currently run by Cadmus Michaels. It has been in his family for hundreds of years, and is the setting for Seven Sisters. The family estate is a mile or so from the nearest train station on the Oxford line.
Cadmus has run it as a boarding house for scholars and researchers wanting to be convenient to Oxford but not directly in town since about 1912.
Cadmus, his nephew (Farran Michaels), and Lena Cooper (the housekeeper) are the permanent residents. Also resident during Seven Sisters are Robin Aelfdane and Vivian Porter, among others.
