Mysterious Fields series

The Mysterious Fields trilogy follows Thessaly Lytton-Powell and Vitus Deschamps, following them through a number of events and challenges until their happily-ever-after in the third book.   It is also about what happened to the Fortier and Landry families in 1889 and 1890.   Do you hate Childeric? Need a little reassurance about where we're going? I've heard from some readers that they're finding Childeric awful and also stressful. (He is in fact supposed to be awful.) They've also said the following bit of info is a help.
Click here for a little reassurance
Childeric dies in his challenge for the Council in 1889 (which happens in Silent Circuit, book 2 of the trilogy.)   His death has been mentioned in books taking place much later a couple of times (specifically in Upon A Summer's Day and a couple of extras). I promise he does not get what he wants. Of course, you'll have to read Silent Circuit to find out more about exactly how this comes to be, and what it means for Thessaly, Vitus, and the various Fortiers.   I also promise that Thessaly and Vitus are going to get a long happy life together, once they solve a few problems. It just takes a trilogy to get there.
