Vitus Deschamps

When Enchanted Net begins, Vitus has just returned from a tour of the continent as part of his apprenticeship as a talisman maker. He has a close relationship with his apprentice mistress, Niobe Hall. Vitus's father is a man of business for several of the notable families associated with the Fortier family.
He was in Salmon House at Schola and is a member of the Four Metals.
(The Deschamps brothers mentioned in Carry On are younger cousins, not appearing in this book.)
