While there are many Gods and Goddesses that are worshiped in Aasha, there are eight Central Gods that are common among most people. Each of them are represented by an elemental domain as well as a set of virtues their followers revere. The Eight are:
- Ravi - Sun, justice, law, and obedience
- Tsuki - Moon, mercy, charity, generosity
- Imix - Fire, war, courage, physical perfection
- Melikki - Wood, nature, temperance, preservation
- Olastra - Water/Sea, forgiveness, fraternity, travel, trade, language
- Baeduu - Earth, Agriculture, Industry, endurance, patience
- Balaam - Air, spirit, harmony, balance
- Jern - Metal, knowledge, magic, prudence, planning, invention, wisdom
Although each church of Central Gods have preferred virtues, it doesn't mean that its teaching do not include the main virtues of another church. Followers of Baeduu are expected to be obedient and followers of Imix are encouraged to do service.
Many people in Aasha tend to worship many Gods - especially if their domains intersect and synergize. For example, many followers of Balaam also follow tenets of Meillikki because they find beauty in nature and use it to meditate and center themselves. Many soldiers hold charms of both Ravi and Imix because they are required to uphold the law and justice as well as defend the realm when needed.
The cultures of entire countries are heavily influenced by the primary gods worshipped. For example, in the
The Holy Republic of Elysia the Ravians, who represent justice, prosecutes in criminal cases while Tsukiis who represent mercy defend the accused. The entire system is built to balance the justice of law with the mercy of mortals.

The Archcastigates (The Old Gods)
The Old Gods ruled Aasha long before the mortal races were created by them. They used mortals as pawns and slaves in their diabolical plans to gain an advantage one over another. Each of them were defeated and imprisoned by the Eight with
Typhon as their warden. While their direct influence has been severely limited by their imprisonment, their worship has not completely been eradicated. Many, descended from those who fought on their side in the
War of Ascension, still keep the old ways. Other still are actively trying to free them from their prisons.
