Imix

Imix is the God of physical perfection, of outward action, honor, victory, leadership, and personal sacrifice. It was Imix who led the armies of the New Gods against those of the Archcastigate and won the day's victory. He is described as a being of passion and action, quick to action, and easy to anger.   Imix is also associated with the element of fire and consequently the school of evocation magic. It is said that it is often the influence of Imix that burns the passions of mortals to action. Imix has been blamed for war, revolution, and civil unrest. Many refer to him as the God of War although his worshipers would call that a misnomer. A fire when unchecked can burn and destroy, but with proper control can be a source of energy for positive change and good in the world.   Imix is mainly worshiped by soldiers, policemen, adventurers, and athletes. He is considered to be one of the main Dieties in cultures where martial prowess is highly coveted like the Allied Dukedoms of Camdyn or Fu Dao Empire.

Tenets of Faith

May your courage burn bright
The followers of Imix believe that their bodies are temples of God. Because of this, like the followers of Baeduu, they refrain from drinking alcohol, smoking, and eating poisonous mushrooms. They tend to eat balanced diets and exercise frequently. They believe that to achieve the pinnacle of idealized mortal form is the ultimate worship of Imix.   Followers of Imix also believe in courage, sacrifice, and honor - that the good of one does not outweigh the good of the whole. They often serve in the military or law enforcement, and many volunteer their time to help the poor or needy. Often if there is no organized church of Tsuki in a location, the followers of Imix will organize welfare organizations.   To a worshiper of Imix, an oath is the strongest bond in life. To break an oath or a simple agreement is a huge sin against the God of Honor. Consequently, worshipers of Imix do not make agreements or oaths easily. And if one is ever to receive an oath from a worshipper of Imix, he/she should expect the oath-taker to fulfill the oath to its fullest extent.
