What were they thinking?

I shouldn't have shown them... I shouldn't have shown them what they really look like then maybe they would still be here. I don't know what their purpose was, never got to find out. They wanted that damn Lich Follower to talk to the Guardian of Illusion, why, why would they even think that's a good idea. Especially when I'm the one that is the Catalyst to it. What were they thinking?

No surprise he failed and then preceded to attack them. Al and myself were the only ones trying to use our items on them. Al succeeded, embarrassingly enough, I failed. That failure led to it's slaughter. Everyone attacked it, I shouldn't have let them know it was in that barrier that Etcher used on it. Then maybe it could have been spared. Maybe I have been a fool to trust them all, i don't know though...

What were they thinking? Do they even have a clue of what we're doing here? Do they just plan on slaughtering everything they come across? I will at least fix my part in this with the Crown of Night's help, away from the fools and slaughterers.
