Session 8:

Elias’ new goal is to free everyone on the ledger from their debt.
 
We debate how to carry as much gp as we can…
We spend a few hours going through it.
 
We all gain several pounds of coin.
 
Toadvine shows up, claims Isolde saved him and he and Elias could’ve been better friends if only he had freed him.
Toadvine did something to Angst and tells us to look around the corner as he is off to bigger and better things.
 
Ashe dashes to cut off Toadvine’s escape.
Toadvine attacks w/ his scimitar. 3 Atks!
Elias jumps on the broom of flying and shoots TV with his bow, keeping his balance on the broom but the shot misses…
Jo casts longstrider on themself and on Dermish. Moves towards Angst, looks like he’s 300ish feet away. Shifts into challace starry form
Franz atks TV with Scorching ray, nat 20 and a hit and a miss
Dermish atks with Scorching ray, nat 20 and a hit and a miss
Elias knocks him out
 
Isolde doesn’t like Angst and has something against quartermaster and had TV kill Angst.
 
Jo tried to save Angst having Maggie pull out the sword in his chest, his lips were completely blue and the cure wounds boosted by chalice did nothing.
A hole opened up and sounds of blasphemy came through as it sucked Angst’s body into the first layer of the Abyss… Jo and Maggie tried to keep him from being pulled through but failed. Jo eventually gave up trying to save his body and stopped Maggie from being pulled through but her hand was already through and seems to be cursed as the blackness spreads when she gets angry as she took Angst’s sword.
 
We begins to plan going to the abyss to save Angst. In an attempt to figure out how to get there we go to the Essoterica again, new lady there. Sees the future with cards.
 
Franz pulls the sun
Dermish pulls the moon
Jo pulls the devil
Ashe passes she pulls one anyway but doesn’t share what it was
Elias pulls judgement
 
This lady is different than the one from before and wants to work us for cash
 
Elias looks at the ledger and realizes she has paid around 1200gp over the past 5 years and gave 50gp for the book of the planes ‘Great Wheel of Cosmology’
Dermish ended up give the 20gp asked for the book he was looking at on demons
 
Mama Maria was her name
Jo traded their pink cupcake for a fiend arrow and gave it to Elias. Turns out the cupcake contained a purple worm
We each bought a healing potion
 
Quartermaster approved of our dealings and led us back to the barracks.
Elias read through the book we bought Dermish did the same with the demonomicon
 
Pozoozoo came up as a name in an evil plane of existence, was an Oberith. Combined other oberiths into a shard
A shard of the shard of pure evil was in the black diamond that split the material plane in two. Pozuuzuu handed the combined elementals oberiths to Theresden(elemental) ‘the chained god’
 
Theresden plunged it into the depths of the elemental chaos starting the infinite depths of the abyss.
 
The oberiths ruled the abyss for some time but the lawful creatures couldn’t gain control of the chaos
Elastin good chaotic creatures were the only ones able to take over the abyss
 
Theresden ended up chained in the abyss and we don’t know what pozuuzuu is up to now
 
Pozuuzuu - Prince of lower aerial kingdoms Rules plane of infinite portals, palace of 1001 closets.
 
Only layer of abyss with sky is the first, has a red dying sun ruled by Pozuuzuu
 
Tenari are the ones who defeated the oberiths, like Orcus and Demogorgon first appeared when mortals died and started appearing in the abyss
 
When souls die they go the the fugue plane where they wait for their gods to get them
Many times demons and devils will snatch them before their gods can get them
 
Elias realizes there is a portal to the abyss in the plane of fire city of brass.
 
We are unsure about this idea as we don’t have fire resistance
 
 
Maggie says she thinks she can get us there and we go to her place and she pulls a tuning fork and starts casting plane shift. Jo tries to stop it taking the tuning fork their own hand turns black
