Saajon- gave Jo a wineskin and after talking for a bit decides to convince the group to party.
 
Jo finds a mark of the Oakenfoot clan on a rock in the ground. Digging up a locked chest that Elias opened. It contained a barrel of Jo’s uncle’s ale including the recipe.
 
Jo adds the ale to the party.
 
They ask questions about the Oakenfeet that passed through here. The ones who passed through about a decade ago were a hunting party looking for the gith that escaped the culling in Hammerfall. Jo starts questioning the history of the
 
Hyadr plays ‘catch the spear’ with Gordron one of the other barbarians and wins.
 
During our rest a small orc child stabs Hyadr.
 
After many failed attempts to catch her (including Panfyr tackling Ashe mistakenly) Franz turned her into a penguin.
 
Ashe tied her up. Hyadr is the only one who speaks Orcish. After an impressive back and forth. Hyadr debates pulling his weapon but realizes the party (minus Hazel) was against killing a child.
 
We convince the elder to take the child. Luca. As they depart in the morning they take her with them to their city Onrohk.
 
 
Ravenqueensea 5, 1093 8am departure
 
Franz unsuccessfully tries to hunt something for blood
 
 
12pm we make it to Crow’s Crossing a small town
 
We decide to stop for lunch, Jo buys 4 loaves of honey bread on the street.
 
We get to an inn that serves us and our horses food in exchange for some of the Oakenfoot ale. The barkeep seems nervous every time the door opens.
 
Elias ask’s about the Sherwoods.(his mother’s maiden name as this is where she is from) Dianne Nickolas

The blacksmith is also an Oakenfoot named Gribus. Jo shared the ale recipe with him. The secret ingredient is salted oranges. The hunting party was never able to find the escaped gith.
Lizara was a hag the city drowned and they believe she is the water spirit tormenting the town. During the arcane forge war in 776. Her lover went off to war, she waited by the river but he never returned.
 
Tarren Soze, the original owner of the ledger before Barrett (the dragon), Elias realized the innkeeper Lilb is also on the ledger. Ca’va is Lilb’s wife. Elias lets him know what happened but Dirck, the protector of the town, seems to have an affinity towards it. 7 of the guard from Eldoria left and came here to become his goons recently. He responds to Amelia in Pontemunde.
 
Avery Ca’va is the famous soup maker in town. Famous bouillon. Dated Elias’ mom.

We go to check out Dirk, Ashe goes up as a spider, Elias and Panfyr send their familiars. Franz disguises himself as Blackwood and goes to talk to them. Somehow convinces them to go back but they wont go until tomorrow. Franz (as Blackwood) agrees to get them a contract for 3x what they used to make to come back.
 
We start making a plan to ambush them at the bridge. Jo borrows Avery’s fishing pole as a ruse to keep the rogues covered with pass without trace.
 
Dirck is too smart to get on the bridge. All 20 of the others make it to the center when Franz ignites the fuse.
 
Panfyr was able to kill Dirck. As we use Marzipan to fly across the river, while Franz was ferrying Jo they got struck by lightning.
 
Making it over, there’s an updated ledger that lets Elias know how much Dirck was collecting from this town. There are also 5 gems of water elemental summoning that we keep. Worth 400gp. Elias decides to give all the money back.
 
A potion of storm giant and cloud giant strength was found, Franz and Jo gave them to Hyadr. Ashe found a superior healing potion
 
Jaren Silverleaf - a traveling merchant wandered into the hideout. We donate some money to him almost 500 gp. He said if we give him 1000gp he may show up where we need him with items worth up to 100gp
