We decide to head to the temple of the Raven Queen since Stobri said she was the one who allowed her to pass back and forth
 
The grey elf is a Shadar-Kai and currently is going by the name Skip.
 
Jo casts speak with plants to cause all the brambles blocking the stairs to the top of the Parthenon. At the top there is a cloak on the ground and Jo puts it on. Putting on the hood causes the cloak to turn into feathers.
 
Behind Jo a raven named Michael speaks. We ask if the Raven Queen can get us back to New Galvania on Aelsh. He says he can ask but wants an offering. Jo offers the Rainbow orb from the thieves guild.
 
We take a short rest while Michael goes to ask. Comes back and says we are all good but we are still in the shadowfell.
 
An orc approaches, Hyadr goes to approach. It’s Myadr, Hyadr’s brother who is here to kill him.
 
Good thing we short rested. Jo also healed Hyadr some. Myadr then begins to lead us to the portal saying that you have to know the way.
 
He wants to fight and kill Hyadr so bad! “You were too weak and it will be the downfall of the village” “You weren’t supposed to be kicked out, you were supposed to be sacrificed” The Black Wing Tribe has been annihilated and Myadr is here to petition the Raven queen to bring them back from the Fugue plain so their spirits can search for Gruumsh. He believes, seeing Hyadr here that he needs to kill Hyadr to get his call answered.
 
He leads us to the portal. Thankfully thanks to the short rest and Jo’s healing he is back to full HP. Panfyr sets up the ring. Jo asks if he would want us to interfere if it starts to look bad, he doesn’t, so we decide we won’t.
 
Upon striking, Hyadr’s weapon becomes a +2 and begins to speak to him. “Ahhh, it’s been so long”
Myadr crit fails and loses his weapon.
Hyadr adds poison to the weapon.
Hyadr crit fails and Myadr grabs hold of the weapon. The weapon kills Myadr though ending the conflict.
 
Hyadr is still processing what just happened but Panfyr loots the body.
Turns out the cloak belonged to Hyadr’s father so Jo gives it to him and it is a cloak of protection.
We realize the halberd is speaking to Hyadr (or at least Hyadr speaks to it) and theorize it might be cursed
 
We build a pyre for Myadr following Hyadr’s loose instructions and attempt a funeral
Hyadr does his best to follow the funeral rites.

Myadr’s soul comes out and says “You have to save our family” before being sucked off
 
We go through the portal and return to our sitting positions along the Druid tree
 
(The cloak of protection is named Raven Down and the Halberd is akin to the Blood Speer in Curse of Strahd)

We begin planning our next steps
 
We debate stopping at Jura, a town on our way back to the twin villages. They used to be holy but have been corrupted by the Magnuses over time.
We think the town is filled with death nights. Undead creatures that sacrificed their lives to the cause
 
We realize Franz is missing and is with Lyra (the Saturday group) they were able to take down one death knight but this town of Jura has at least 4.
 
 
We decide to go for Jura and the Death Knights, sending the 15 werewolves towards the twin cities to scout and find what they can about the Pyramids (source of the Magnus’ power) and the entrance to the under dark. 4 families in the under dark guard the pyramid.

4pm we arrive at Jura

Rakus, Sarkus, Glongul, Limar - The knights of Jura who watch us
Mokli - 30’s man who helped us learn about the town
 
The knights left to Balen Village to guard the Magnus’ during the Red party. They left this day and the party will last a few days. Supposedly the Magnus’ are not currently in their castle.
Mokli’s wife (Linda’s) brother usually goes with the knights to assist with the guard but didn’t this time as he is sick.
 
Daredrick (brother) Jo cured of his illness. He is well off thanks to his birth. You are born into wealth or poverty and the only way to change it is to get lower via marriage.
He was hoping to get into the inner circle. Regular invite is red, upper class invite is white. Daredrick was hoping to get into the inner circle this year but couldn’t because he got sick.
 
Kanchelsis (Rake)a Bonvenoh - blood beast that attacked the mining encampment in Jura, drinks and drinks and drinks blood. Has a duality and has been attacking the mines in Anastas. The Magnus’ have now been moving the miners. Layer of the Beast, Mansion of the Rake Layer 487 of the Abyss lord.
 
Mordenkainen shows up and gives us invitations to the red party. One invitation is white for the inner circle the rest are general red. He says that Zozth (Elias’ ancestor) is going to tear the world once the shards are reassembled. (Saturday has already found and reassembled many shards)
Mordenkainen says that we could get a shard back at this party, not the one we lost but another.
 
We theorize that Pete has a shard as there is a chance that the demons overflowing is what is disrupting the balance Mordenkainen cares about.
 
6pm Mordenkainen teleports us to Anastas with our 2 NPCs
