What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

We can currently use FontAwesome and RPGAwesome to do things like and . However, these are pretty limited in terms of what they offer for worldbuilders. Whilst RPGAwesome definitely has *more*, it's also missing some common ones - for instance, neither iconpack offers icons for caves.

How does this feature request address the current situation?

Game Icons is a HUGE repository of SVGs that can be used under a very open license. There're integrations for them in other apps like FoundryVTT already. For worldbuilders, who may need a very wide set of images, these are perfect, especially in concert with FA and RPGAwesome! Now, the usual issue would be that they're not in a webfont format, but there's multiple repos for that: Seiyria's GameIcons font ToddFast's GameIcons font ...with FontCustom being a way WA could just create its own version of a webfont. These are also both under licenses supporting use on commercial sites, as is Game-Icons itself. There's also Iconify, I suppose, but that seems like entirely more of a pain in the arse. https://iconify.design/getting-started/

What are other uses for this feature request?

This would be available anywhere and everywhere that normal icons are - meaning we could use it to assign articles, use within articles, use on categories, and perhaps even put on maps as extra indicators in addition to their current pins. It'd also be fantastic for chronicles!

I like the idea of more icons, because there have been icons I've wanted/needed and not found in FontAwesome and RPGAwesome. Game Icons appears to have a whole host icons what would fit the bill for my needs.

Go Hanhula! I didn't even know these existed, would be great, always need more icons, I have them in probably too many places. as long as a) they are safe to use from a) server perspective, b) not a nightmare for the team to maintain Note: For those of us with Differnetial Learning Styles (Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dysgraphia etc) visual cues like icon fonts can make enhance understanding, and just look good :)

I haven't managed to figure out how to make my PC show the special fonts yet, so I haven't gotten much use out of them yet, but more options are always a nice addition.
