Nameing Traditions
Many cultures, including most south-east Asian ones in our world, write names in the form of Family name Given name rather than the other way around. Currently, adding names to a character in the name tab of a character sheet is always in a pre-determined order.How does this feature request address the current situation?
Giving at least a checkbox for which order name names should be presented in, or even better a drag-and-drop for all sections of the name, more cultural variance can be included.What are other uses for this feature request?
Not only might many fictional cultures have traditions that the one implied, but this would also be more inclusive towards real-life cultures.The Team's Response
Closed for not reaching target votes in 20 days / Declined The way that the naming tab works you have 4 "slots" to be filled. The naming of the actual fields does not appear anywhere. There is nothing stopping you from ignoring the suggested naming and building up your names the way you want them even that means putting the "family" name on the slot for the "firstname"

I haven't been able to use the Naming tab effectively in my character articles, because I needed the parts to combine differently for my world's naming conventions. Another complex real-world example is Arabic naming conventions (with a great Wikipedia article about it!)
