Pajali or Leock
Basic Information
Anatomy
Leock are perhaps the most beautiful animal to walk the earth. They are widely known for their bright blue and green coloring and majestic stature. They are a large Griffon, the size of a large dog, and have extremely large tail feathers that can extend in a fan like fashion. They have a fierce and proud appearance and powerful front legs that can cause great injury from their sharp talons. Beautiful yet deadly, reminds me of home.
Genetics and Reproduction
Leocks will gestate for four months and eggs will hatch after six.
Growth Rate & Stages
Leocks will leave their nest at a year and a half and are considered fully devolved after five.
Ecology and Habitats
Leocks originally were found in the oasis of the Enotau desert and along the rivers that run through it. They were considered mystical protectors of the oasis' and the water.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Leocks in the wild will eat small prey like rabbits, mice, and birds, as well as larger ones if they can. In domestication they only eat the finest of foods.
Biological Cycle
They are one of the longest living Griffons, able to live from 80-100 years.

Domestication
Leocks have been domesticated but are exclusively owned by Tiefling royalty and Extremely wealthy merchants that run the various port cities of the Almiqi Peninsula.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
They are not know to possess any outstanding sense but are thought to be magical in nature, with common belief being that they can see into the future and sniff out magic.
