Malajun or Cheecoln
Basic Information
Anatomy
Malajuns are a large Griffon around the size of a medium to large dog and weighing around 50lbs. They have slender, spotted bodies with long legs tipped with powerful talons. They also have extremely sharp beaks and large ears.
Genetics and Reproduction
They gestate for four months and eggs will typically hatch after five.
Growth Rate & Stages
Malajuns will reach an age to set out on their own after one year and will be fully matured and developed after two years.
Ecology and Habitats
They are most commonly found in the mountains east of the Enotau desert where they nest. They hunt their prey that consists of medium sized herbivores such as deer, gazelle, and wild goats and sheep by flying high into the air and swooping down at extremely fast speeds, killing the prey in just a single blow.
Dietary Needs and Habits
They are hyper-carnivores, needing to eat a lot of meat in order to survive.
Biological Cycle
Malajuns will live between 16-20 years on average.

Malajuns have excellent hearing and eyesight that they use to spot prey from high in the air.
