Kingdom of Preumsterland
Preumsterland (Preumshpraak: Prüsterreich), officially The Kingdom of Praumsterland (Preumshpraak: Königreich Prümsterlaundt), is a small kingdom of ancient tradition and history governed by its monarch. It was located on the north-western coast of the Sea of Fallen Men in central Euron, which put it in the path of many trade routes.
Although they suffered over a century of decline during the dragon-giant wars, with only the cities of Königsburg, Sturmhafen and Rabenturm auf Ashenfeldt enduring the devastating conflict, they once again became a wealthy, independent collection of city-states unified under one banner, with one purpose. to protect the North against the growing horde of Gnolls in the northern mountains bordering the Njorskarmark.
The Preumish (Preumshpraak: Prüsterreicher)takes a great deal of pride in their cultural heritage of cultivating wealth and strength. While not as war-like, as their northern cousins the Krashuks and Njorskarings, The Preumish have a proud martial-mercatile cultural tradition, the adage "Fräden und Krieg, Suylbar und Stahl" (literally peace and war, silver and peace) is a testament to this mentality. Their military, most prominently renowned its Heavy mounted cavalry Königins Schwarzstahl Reiter and Light infantery border guard the Grenzjäger, is a force to be reconed with. The sheer might of the Preumish forces have been shown time and time again in struggles for the fatherland. The diligent preumish are equally well-known for its history of Seafaring trade, the pursuit of mercantile endeavors and work as mercenaries or adventurers. Their long tradition of commerce and trade has kept Prüsterreich largely self- sufficient during their entire existence, particularly during the terrible grand design of Salvador Bronson, simply known as The Calamity. During these times of apocalyptical upheaval the preumish people showed its mettle and aswered bayond the call of duty, their country becoming the battle field in the Battle of The Alliance of Salvation. Anyone familiar with the name 'Premsterland' will no doubt know it as military and economic powerhouse, considered as dangerous to travel as it is beautiful to behold.Structure
Königin Mirlin Riesensitz "The She-Wolf of The North" also known as "The Hammer of the Preumish" is the current queen of Prausterland, and the head of the Royal House of Riesensitz, an early clan of the Auldheim, and rumoured giants decendants, in the early days of Prausterland's foundation. Currently in her 19th year on the throne after being crowned at the age of 23.
Culture
Strength, might, and martial prowess are highly praised and respected values in Premish culture. Those who are viewed as paragons of such virtues are often the most well-respected individuals in society regardless of their personal demons. One of the most common greetings in the kingdom is "hail to thine Might!"
Might isn't the only virtue in Preusterland, either. Honor and loyalty are held in just as high esteem. If someone pledges their loyalty to another, it is assumed--expected, even--that the individual would die before breaking their oath. Their society is law-driven and contracts reign supreme. To be labeled an "oathbreaker" is possibly the highest insult one could level against another. Those who break their bonds are labeled "oathbreakers" or "bondbreakers," which carries a serious cultural penalty: these individuals are often shunned from gatherings, important offices, and often lose business to boot. Modern culture still enforces strict penalties for these outcasts, but they now have an "out:" shunned individuals can now go adventuring and begin lives outside the communities in in order to redeem their name and reputation through service to Prausterland, the Crown and the Preumish people. This is directly correlated with the rise of the "adventurer," a new occupation in which people travel the world looking for odd jobs.

Demography and Population
While the majority of the population, like in most of the world, is human, there are large groups of other races. Elves and, especially, Dwarves are very commonplace. You will also see more of the races sometimes not welcome in other regions of the world. A hard-working orc is given as much of a chance here as a dwarf is. And an orc who doesn't provide is as useless to society as a dwarf who doesn't.
Territories
Preusterland is a hilly, forested kingdom. The southern half is covered in deciduous forests of elms, oaks, aspens, and fruit trees. Her northern reaches are clothed in thick pine and fir forests. Her coasts mostly consist of chalky cliffs and tide pools, but there are a handful of beaches capable of launching small boats or canoes. This is no problem for the law-abiding citizens, howewver, because Preusterland has more warmwater ports than any other kingdom on Euron.

Military
Considering the similarity and close relation in the political structure of Prausterland to its cousin-state of Mekrad, it is perhaps little surprise that the organization of its military would follow suit as well. Despite Prausterland's somewhat modest wealth, the kingdom funds a well-equipped and well-trained Royal Army centered in the northern capitol of Königsburg. The only true members of the Royal Army are directly sworn to the King (or Queen) themself, following under a chain of command which leads up to generals stationed within the capitol to avoid the regional loyalty seen in traditional feudal societies. Despite this, even the unofficiated civilian appointees employed by local lords for general peacekeeping are funded by the crown, given proper equipment to ensure the safety of the roads and cities without allowing for a great enough stockpile of arms that they could pose any true threat to the royal forces in the event of rebellion.
The Royal Army itself is stocked entirely with professional soldiers divided into legions under the command of trusted military commanders (Großgeneräle des Königreichs) in mild emulation of the structure seen in the Second-Era Duryadi Imperial Sultanate in Southeastern Naghron. In times of war, these groups are sub-divided into multiple cohorts each comprised of a variety of troops to assure preparedness for a variety of situations—fully-armored men-at-arms equipped with shield, spear, and sword make up the majority and are most often supplemented by heavy mounted cavalry and lightly armored crossbowmen. Specialized units, such as elven archers and/or warmages form Rabenturm auf Ashenfeldt, are rarer additions to the more vital forces.
In times of peace, legions usually remain sub-divided into their cohorts and are either sent to larger population centers to serve as temporary lawmen or left to patrol roads and docks important to trade.
Foreign Relations
The nation's closest neighbour is The Tzardom of Mekrashov, whom they are particularly close with. The Kingdom of Prausterland enjoys peaceful relations with most realms. Trade relations with the The Imperial Qyzharate of Duryad and The Grand Chaliphate of Ashad are strained on the rarest of occasioon, but the value of trade is too high to even consider cutting them off entirely. Prausterland is closely allied with the realms of Tzardom of Mekrad and the Nogrod Dominion. The Kingdom would fiercely defend its territory though it seldom needs to.

Some crimes and common punishment for such crimes include:

Agriculture & Industry
Those fishing in preausteran waters were required to pay the local authorities. Most of the country has very fertile lands and agriculture is one of its largest exports. There is even more than is actually shipped abroad as the focus has become taking care of everyone within Krynn before sending anything away. This is bad for the economy but has widespread support among the people. Often referred to as the "Forest Kingdom", Prausterland was once covered in thick forests. Due to commercial logging and clearing for farming, however, the once-great forests became restricted to the konigswald in the in the south, the green realm in the north, and the relatively small hunt's Wood to the east.
Education
Everyone in Prausterland is given the chance as a child to learn the basics of reading, writing, and maths. This doesn't extend more than the absolute basics, however. Those who can afford it might hire tutors for their children, which is how they might later get into prominent schools. There are institutes of learning that provides grants for those who show great talent, but it isn't easy to get in.
Infrastructure
Basic infrastructure within Prausterland is extremely well kept and of great pride. Roads are never broken for long and there are stops built along the way that provides protection from the elements in huts that can be defended against beasts or robbers. Cities favour architecture that is sturdy and very functional.

Prausterland utilizes the same copper, silver, gold, and platinum system as the rest of the world's major powers, but issues them in the Preumish König (king) or Königin's (queen) image. The obverse of each coin is stamped with the silhouette of the current monarch. The reverse of the coins differ, however. The back of the copper piece depicts the Auldheim Mountains. The back of the silver piece is embossed with the Titanthrone Hall (the monarch's residence). The gold and platinum coins depict the Preumish crown and the Royal Direwolf, respectively.

Legislative Body
Preusterland has no standardized legislative body. Decisions are made largely at the Municipal level by their respective feudal lord in consultation with the royaly appointed officials. However, the rulings of these small legislatures are not considered binding upon the Queen or Her representatives. The Kingdom is ruled with absolute authority by the monarch.
Judicial Body
Preusterland does have an official judicial system. Each holding is ruled by a feudal lord, duke, or other nobility. But the Magistrate (or Judge) is the monarch's official representative in the district and can hear complaints against the ruling lord and disputes between peasants and minor royalty within the district. Any disputes that cross district lines are heard by the Queen's Magistrate Office in Königsburg where the monarch is technically the Chief Magistrate. However, the königin rarely hears disputes and delegates His authority to the Acting Chief Magistrate.
Executive Body
The Königin is the ultimate executive body in the land. By Her authority are all laws enacted and against Her will are all laws broken. Every person and organization in the realm is subject to Her will. The King delegates Her authority to the Crownguard, local magistrates, and those with Her official writ.
