Session 40: The Moot and The Kidnap

Team 8 spent 4 weeks of down time working on learning new languages and training Shadow Kind in Mundane skills.- Avitus learning common from Diana, training 8 weeks
- Avitus finished training Therry Goodsong how to use computers
- Gnara will complete magic items for Avitus on December 7th and March 7th
- Diana learning Draconic from Avitus, training 1 weeks
- Diana learning Goblin from Greevil, training 2 weeks (not worked on during this down time)
- Diana is learning about magic from Arvind, 3 weeks
- Diana finished teaching Tritra Goldkind medical skills.
- Arvind is learning about tech from Diana, 8 weeks

The Moot (12/2/2146)
During the moot, it was decided that Franz Draco must be assassinated and that there will be no attempt to alter the way that the veil is functioning.Those that voted for open War

The Rescue
After the Moot, Gnara and Keska met with Team 8 and requested that they rescue a kidnapped gnoll cub. They give the team an address where they suspect that the cub has been taken since this is where gnolls have been taken in the past to be researched on. Team 8 accepts the job and goes to the location. They find a building that has an excessive amount of external monitoring cameras and no windows. Once inside the building, they find bones and intestines scattered about. There are rooms with cages that have been torn open. They find Ebonie Wiggins with the gnoll cub in a room. She is digging through a pile of debris. She tells Diana that there is a Pit Fiend in the building and that she needs to leave. Diana states that Team 8 is going to help kill the Pit Fiend. Diana offers to take the cub, but Ebonie refuses. Team 8 kills the Pit Fiend. Team 8 again asks for the cub and Ebonie refuses. Team 8 fights Ebonie and she is subdued. Avitus takes the cub from Ebonie and he is able to calm the cub by giving her his bracelet to smell. Team 8 searched the research lab. Diana collected and wrapped all the gnoll bones that were there. She believed there to be the bones of about 30 different gnolls. Seardon attempted to hack into the computer system, but was unable to. Diana and Seardon removed the hard drive from the computer to take with them. Team 8 takes Ebonie to the gnoll caves with them. They return the cub and find out that she is Sovra Grimfur, who is the daughter of Dreadhowl Keska Grimfur. Diana presents Gnara with the bones that they found. Neither Gnara nor Keska believe the bones to belong to anyone from Riverpaw Clan, but they are still deeply upset by them. Team 8 gives the gnolls Ebonie so that they can have justice for the crimes she has committed against their people. The gnolls tell Team 8 to take her belongings as they do not want them. Keska also gives the team a pair of pistols for rescuing her cub.Rewards Granted
