General Physical Condition
Ebony was poisoned shortly after her arrival in the Mundane world. Because of that, she suffered chronic kidney failure and required daily medications to maintain medical stability. She was healed by Gnara Riverpaw, which greatly improved her symptoms and has kept her from dying. She no longer requires daily medications, but she suspects that her kidneys are still weaker then they had been prior to having been poisoned.

Personal history
She doesn't know much of her father other then he was a merchant for the Drow. Her mother and father had a brief affair while he was on the surface trading and it resulted in her. Ebonie's mother died when she was young, leaving her as an unwanted orphan in Waterdeep. This led her to being raised within the violence of the streets. Most saw her as someone that could not be trusted simply because of her Drow heritage that saw readily apparent in her appearance.
She came into Seattle through a Shadow Rift in 2126. In the beginning, she lived on the streets and survived by doing what she had to. This meant working for gangs, prostitution and stealing. She did whatever she had to in order to stay alive. This meant that she was running with a rough crowd and that she was playing a high risk game, but it was the life style she was familiar with. Turned out that finding her way in Seattle wasn't that much different then finding her way in Waterdeep had been.
The Cthulhu was one of the organizations on the street that she frequently did work for. She provided them with magical items, translated materials and refined drugs. Whatever they were willing to pay for, she was willing to do. Qhall quickly saw that she was intelligent and capable. He helped her learn her way around the city and helped her get an education so that she could become a better asset. It was in this way that she learned to speak English and to drive vehicles.
It didn't take her long to decide that Draco Industries was the organization that had all the power and she wanted to be in a position of power. She gave the Shadow Investigations Unit information about a weapons trade Qhall was doing so that she could prove to them that she was useful. She readily gave up information that she had on other Shadow Kind and earned her place within the Shadow Investigation Unit. Over time, she was able to manipulate her way into the research department and even got herself a lab.
Once she had herself a lab, she began to go back to her old hobby of researching sentience. She has also done the research required of her to maintain her position within the Research Department. Since getting her lab, she has used every opportunity available to her to study humanoids. She often makes deals with others working with in the Shadow Investigation Unit that involves them giving her test samples or participating as a test subject. She has even experimented upon herself. She used magic, alchemy and a little science to manipulate her makeup, resulting in a superior memory.

History
Ebonie betrayed Qhall to the Draco Shadow Investigations Department, nearly getting him caught and killed by one of the teams. She betrayed him to earn the trust of the Shadow Investigations Unit and to earn her way into the organization that she perceived as having all the power in the city. Qhall vows that he will make her pay for her betrayal.
History
She worked for Qhall to help her get by. By choosing to align herself with Qhall and his gang, she made herself an enemy of Tailha who is an enemy with Qhall. Despite no longer being associated with Qhall, Tailha still doesn't trust Ebonie.

She entertained a relationship with Franklyn as a way to gain more power. He wanted sex and she wanted to be given a lab. They both got what they wanted.

Ebonie used them as a lab rat in an effort to better understand the way that cybernetics worked and in order to make it so that they could be adapted for Shadow Kind. They were discarded when Ebonie believed that they had died, but they were rescued and healed by the Wildings.
