The Royal District

Located in the northwestern section of Amaranthine, the Royal District is notable for being the location of the Royal Palace as well as the Royal Gardens, the Nesterly Castle and the Great Apartments.

Government

While the King and Royal family reside in the district, per the MPC the district itself is governed by its current judge, a female halfling name Nedtina.

History

This is one of the oldest portions of the city, as evident by the fact that Lord Nesterly’s original keep still rests on the banks of the Summervine where he first decided to make the city his home. The District is also is home to the Royal Palace and Gardens, two of the largest tourist attractions in the entire city.

Architecture

While the majority of the cities aristocracy prefer to reside in the Temple District, the Royal District to no lesh posh than one would expect it to be. Lavish apartments line streets so narrow that coaches and carriages tend to avoid the location do to how packed it is. Some of the finest inns and dining can be located in the Royal district, as well as several magnificent churches dedicated to the Forces with massive and intricately designed stained glass windows. Furthermore, you will not find a finer tailor in any other district.
