Unorrea

The Tome of Solun tells us that there is not one world, but many in a vast a rolling universe. From the cosmic elemental sea that connects these various plains the Forces of Creation, under Solun's watchful eye, formed the world of Unorrea.   Unorrea is a world of magic in plenty, and a dark history filled with death, darkness and supreme evil. It has given rise to some of the vilest creatures in all the planes, but in all things there is opposition. For every fell creature or dark lord that rose to power, so too came heroes and adventurers to match them.   The darkest of these lords was Maferath the Destroyer, a firstborn of Solun who rebelled against his creator and the other Forces he had once called brethren. For ages without number he waged war on the other Forces of Creation and he children of Solun: mortality. Those ages were plagued by death, torment, weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth until the Forces were able to finally subdue Maferath and destroy is presence for good.   It has been over a thousand years since Maferath's fall, and the Unorrea has known a general peace for that entire time. Empires have risen and fallen, cultures have come and gone and the Forces of Creation have retreated to their domains to recover from their final battle with their most powerful foe.   A new age has dawned over the world, an age of exploration and adventure where brave souls venture out from their cities and homes into a strange world to see what they can find and learn...
