The Conflict

Prelude

During the Crises of the Fey age raids committed by the Ghost ship increased. Adding the near constant shifting in power and attention of the nations around the Gem Sea and by late 122 Fey a power struggle between all parties had stated to form. This is made worse by the reveal of the Lyzzura class ships and it's capabilities in the Rivell Civil war.
A hunt for the Ghost ship was started separately by the three Lyzzura classes, leading to a three on one situation off the coast of Rivell. A quick back and forth between the sides lead to several traps being sprung and countered. Leading to a more direct confrontation.

Deployment

Grunkle's Angels and the Ghost ship Officers engaged each other in a cave while the Lantrian Fleet plane shifted in around the three Lyzzura classes. The other fleets where hiding around the nearby islands with their secret objectives.

Conditions

Mages from both The White City and Gem Sea created storms over the area making visibility and control difficult. combine this with the Gdooble fire added throughout the battle made the conditions not just hazardous but so even light damage could potentially sink a ship.

The Engagement

As the fight within the cave started as did the navel battle with all the fleets moving in. The Lacertillian artillery ships stayed back firing barrels of Gdooble oil into the battle. Several minutes after the battle started visibility became minimal. Girliorth's might took a direct hit to the deck from one of the barrels setting it alight.
By the time Grunkle's Angels made it out the cave to join the navel fight, the battle had turned to chaos, with ships unable to identify each other unless close up, at which point with everything else going on usually lead to a collision. This had the added issue of friendly fire with ships on all sides sinking ships they had arrived with.
Through communication a White City mage destroyed the Artillery ships, creating a massive explosion and leading to several collisions and Zumil's Wraith beaching itself. Other ships had started to try and retreat seeing no end to the hell.
The battle finally concluded when a now unmanned Girliorth's might slammed through the centre of a captured ghost ship, throwing Grunkle's angles into the water.

Outcome

The sheer damage to all navies lead to a power vacuum forming almost immediately in the Gem Sea. This also led to economic troubles for Lacertillia who couldn't protect it's trade anymore. This vacuum lead to an increase in piracy and would see the Gem Sea alliance collapse as accusations of blame were flung around.
This also saw the last tear close of the larger Crisis.
