Zumil's Wraith

A prototype built especially for Grunkle's Angels to take on the threats of the world. Its original construction was rushed leaving it with basic equipment and armor, though the heavy wood used meant it was sturdier than most Drakon classes. The ship was the first with four below decks and extra under decks above the main deck.

Ship of war

At first sailing, the ship still held more firepower than any other ship launched from an Undinian port. The first two lower decks each held eight side-facing balisters per side, two Rear, and two swivel forward. The main deck held four on each side. The fore deck held two swivel stone balisters on each side with an extra central one. while the rear castle held four below-deck rear balisters and two more on the deck facing each of the three directions. The total of 38 balisters and 5 stone-throwing balisters outdid the Drakon class warship by 4 balisters (not including the fact the stone-throwers were more useful than the catapult on the back of other ships) and the five stone-thrower balisters. It also far outpowered the more common Serpent Class doubling the firepower of even the increased firepower versions.
The firepower space seemed to be more than was reasonable with the current technology, designed to take on a much bigger threat than Undinia itself could provide at the time.

Layout

Hold

The lowest deck was below the waterline. These were used mostly as storage with separate compartments. This held the various supplies needed for voyages, as well as any extra cargo.

Bunks

The Second from the bottom deck holds the crew bunks. For damage prevention again this is split into several compartments. Also on this deck are the surgeon's room and the mess. This deck is often below the waterline.

Gun decks

The two upper decks with Balisters, and several sections of the deck house spare blisters and other firing equipment, while the center is kept clear for speed of travel. The 1st deck did include an armory running along the center.

Top Deck

A typical top deck with a total of three masts, and the wheel on top of the castle.

Front Quarters

Split into three quarters for several members of Grunkle's angels.

Castle

Split into two floors, the lower holds the officer's mess and the remaining four quarters for Grunkle's angels. The upper level holds the navigation as well as the captain's quarters and a guest room.

History

Crisis of the Fey age

Gifted to Grunkle's angels on 30 Rapha, 122 Fey, it transported them from the 'ruins' of Voidcape around the Gem sea. On route to Rivell, it got to see its first action, joining the battle of Poisseau. Its capabilities horrified the Rivellians as it crippled the Basq flagship in its opening volley, before destroying the whole fleet.
