Admiral François Rosa
The oldest son of King Louis Rosa, François was heir apparent, though famously refused the throne when the time came, despising The Game played. Though he officially is titled both a Duke and Admiral, he uses the lesser Admiral one more.
François is a handsome man with a slightly weathered face from his time at sea. A small scar travels down his left cheek from an assassin in his youth.
Being recalled the capital, the navy declared him as king before he'd left Poisseau. Upon reaching the capital more declared him king, though both his sister and the young Duchess of Basq both refused to. As his father's funeral took place, he noticed several conversations taking place, though not skilled at the game he understood enough to decide to play a wild card and make sure the throne was secure. Organizing a small river cruise with his uncle, the Duke of Par Royvaux la Lyon, and the Duchess of Tourlu, his two strongest supporters. When it came to 'his' coronation, he shocked everyone by just grabbing the crown off of the head cleric and telling his sister to 'get her arse up here.' When an uproar started several knights from Royvaux moved to block the throne with their swords drawn. François crowned Anora to, unsurprisingly with the current situation, thunderous applause.
History
Early Life
Brought up in the palace, he was thought by the best tutors available, earning both state and warcraft. He took to his military training well and quickly impressed his tutors with tactical and logistic knowledge, however, he seemed incapable of grasping even the basics of Rivellian politics. François took every opportunity he could to visit the various port cities, however, falling in love with the ocean. As a teen, he even got his own river barge, allowing him to travel down as often as he liked. It was on one such trip wh he was seventeen that his lack of ability in the game really came to light, as an assassin tried to kill him, scaring his left cheek before François ran him through.Naval officer
When he became old enough he decided to go against tradition, in which royal males joined the Rivellian knights, and instead asked to join the navy. Quickly showing his skill on the boat, he rose to captain his own ship. Leading a raid on Sardia to expel the pirates raiding their trade routes saw him once again display his quick mind and capacity for planning, destroying the more dangerous ships before they had even raised anchor. "My, that was the best play I think I've seen."-conversation between François and Anora when he crowned her As her first decree as Queen, Anora made François Admiral of the royal navy to his delight, and Duke of Poisseau to his dismay. He has since spent his time guarding the trade routes and rooting out pirates making the Gem sea the safest it's ever been.

Crisis of the Fey age
While not much changed for François at the start of the conflict, he was dragged into it when the battle of Poisseau happened. Though caught off guard, he quickly scrambled the fleet for defense, a task made easier by the intervention of Zumil's Wraith, a ship that horrified him with its firepower. In thanks, he gave Grunkle's Angels a letter of introduction each.
