However, his life took a tragic turn when a devastating incident occurred. During a moment of reckless experimentation with his abilities, Pyro inadvertently caused a fire that resulted in the death of a close friend. Consumed by guilt and grief, he chose to distance himself from his past and the consequences of his actions.
Pyro ventured far to the south, leaving his former life behind and taking up the mantle of a sailor. He sought solace in the vastness of the ocean and the simplicity of life aboard a ship. It was during this time that he found himself embroiled in a mutiny on the high seas.
Facing the gallows, Pyro's life was spared by the timely intervention of three pirates: Sam Bellamy, Wellan, and Rudy.
